Like the William Blake from, from which the titles of this wonderful series are drawn, Tyger Tyger by Kersten Hamilton burns bright in the hearts of those who read it!  I have loved Tea, Finn, Abby, Aiden and all of the other characters since the moment I read the first page of this first book.  These books weave Celtic mythology, with all of the darkeness and light inherent to it, with contemporary times and the result is a beautiful story.

For THIS WEEK ONLY, this first book is free in ebook format on iBooks and Nook, and Kindle, the latter at any moment!  Don’t miss out on this amazing book!  It is Apple’s Book of the Week this week, too!  Once you read it, I have no doubt that you will want to read them all!  The buy links are below.  You can read my review of it here!

About the Book

What would you do if the stories of your childhood suddenly began coming to life?  Teagan Wylltson’s best friend, Abby, dreams that horrifying creatures—goblins, shapeshifters, and beings of unearthly beauty but terrible cruelty—are hunting Teagan.  Abby is always coming up with crazy stuff, though, so Teagan isn’t worried.  Until Finn Mac Cumhaill arrives, with his killer accent and a knee-weakening smile.  Either he’s crazy or he’s been haunting Abby’s dreams, because he’s talking about goblins, too . . . and about being born to fight all goblin-kind.  Finn knows a thing or two about fighting.  Which is a very good thing, because this time, Abby’s right.  The goblins are coming.

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp,
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!

When the stars threw down their spears
And water’d heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

-William Blake
